QUESTIONS

  • Is the landlord of the mobile home park legally supposed to tell all the tenants if there is construction going on that will mess with the water supply? Our landlord rarely if ever tells us when there is construction expected and our water will be shut off without prior notice. Isnt there a law against that or something?
  • Can the lease be broken if its infested with cockroaches and my health is at stake? I have a dr.'s note showing that i i am allergic to their feces.

  • The father of my 18 month old son decided to break up with me recently and am very upset because of the breakup. I complained directly to the property management and her response is "i am not authorized to notify or request repairs because I am not on the lease" my question is in Arizona can management companies ignore safety and health complaints due to a spouse not being on the lease.
  • I was in a joint checking account with my 90 yr. old mother. She has no assets or income other than social security. She took out a $10,000 loan. I am not a joint account on this loan. She will need to default b/c she can no longer afford the payment. Will the bank come after me to pay the loan even though I did not co-sign on the loan? It is the same bank that I had a joint account with. it is the bank I do all my bank business with in conjunction with my husband?
  • Relative on parole & will not listen. He is not forthcoming with details but was stopped in Mohave county & now has a criminal case in their court system. He lives in Yavapai County. He never showed for court and has failed to pay fines for a different case from 2 months ago. He is saying he is going to flee to another state. When he flees & WHEN he is caught - what kind of additional time is he looking at for purposely leaving the state to avoid going back to prison. The last entry in the Mohave court system is 8/17/15. Today is 9/1 - How long does will it take for a new warrant to be issued?
