  • My apartment community has changed ownership several times since I moved in 4 years ago. I discovered that my unit was wired to provide electricity for one of the apartment amenities that was outside of my unit. The management has fixed the problem but they are only offering to reimburse me for the time that they owned the property, about 13 months and told me that I would have to track down the previous owners for the rest of the money. Should they be obligated to pay a rebate for the 3 years that I was paying for their electricity or do I indeed need to take it up with the previous owners
  • We are senior citizens. A bank is offering us a home loan that we assumed was fixed interest-the rate dropped a fraction, even-then I happened to notice an unfamiliar phrase with a tiny checked box-'demand feature'. I looked it up: the bank can demand payment, calling the loan, at any time without giving a reason. It said that some states prohibit that practice. Is Arizona one? Calling the loan could destroy us and force the property into foreclosure.

  • My husband is in the army and we are getting ready to PCS out of state. He has joint custody of his 6 year old son with his ex, neither of them are listed as the primary parent. However, we have him 90% of the time and want to take him with us. He basically just sleeps at her house 2 nights a week and every other weekend. We feel like we have a really good case for multiple reasons that I can't put down with this character limit. His ex is aware of the move & wants their son to stay here. My question is, whats the best way to go about filling this w/the court because we cant afford a lawyer.
