  • 2 of the burners on my stove have gone out. I notified management who is just going to replace it instead of repairing it. They sent someone to remove the stove on Thursday 9/24/15. It is now Saturday 9/26/15 and we have no stove. The vendor says it will be Tuesday 9/29/15 before we have a stove. Can i turn in receipts for food expenses while we are without a stove? Rent is due on 10/1/15 and I'd like to subtract a reasonable amount from my rent for these expenses since I can't cook at home.
  • We had an installer for a cable company in our house. My dog broke through the gate and bit his pants which scraped his leg. No puncture through the skin, no bleeding. Not trying to minimize what happened. It was scary. He put in a claim with his workmans comp. Now the Workmans Comp insurance company is sending us notices that we are responible to re-emburse them. The notice says "Medical Lein" Is this legal? They are being paid by the company and they also want to collect from us? The letter says I should submit a claim to my home owners insurance. Help?   • I live in a mobile home retirement community in Mesa. It was recently acquired my Cal-am. One of their new directives is that all window AC units have to be removed. I do not have central air and cant afford to install it. Being without AC in AZ is like not having heat in NYC. Can they really force me to remove my 2 AC units even though it gets to 120 degrees?

  • I emailed my landlord and gave him a 30 day notice and he emailed back and accepted it. Now he says I have to pay another month rent and send a certified letter stating when I am going to leave. I have all the corresponding email even the one where he is trying to intimidate me. my husband retired from the marines and had to leave for another job in WA State and we had to stay behind because he is making us pay another month or longer. Is this legal

Do we have the right to tell the Landlord not to let anyone come in without our permission cause they walk in when i shower or standing in kitchen with my boxers on, or sleeping... they got no right to come in without calling or texting me if i am home or not. Do i have the right tell them NO entrance? I was raped by a maintenance when i was in my 20’s so i do not like anyone coming in while i am sleeping or showering or standing in kitchen in my boxers. This maintenance just opened the door and i freaked out.
