QUESTIONS

  • I locked myself out of my apartment and was denied entry by management for 3 1/2 hours. Is this legal? I asked to be let back in and the guy (who has a key) told me it wasn't his job to let me back in.
  • If the Landlord issues a 10 day non-compliance letter, and the tenant has already sent a letter stating they are breaking the lease and leaving one month early, can the Landlord still hold tenant responsible for the last month of rent, if tenant cannot remedy the non-compliance issues in 10 days and has to move out?

The developer is getting properties back thru foreclosures and says he does not owe dues and is using his 10-1 votes from the foreclosures. Our CC&Rs say that if the first mortgagee gets property back they are not liable for past dues, but from acquisition. Help?

I also was wondering who is responsible for travel payment, because she moved out of state and will not pay to fly him to me for my legal days, she says I need to either pay to fly him out here or I can drive to Northern Arizona to get him if I want him on my legal days, can she do that?
