  • If a parent is in the military and their legal state of residence is Arizona, and so was the spouses and children at time of filing, wouldn't that give Arizona jurisdiction for child custody? Even if neither person had lived in Arizona for the past 11 yrs? Parent filing at the time was stationed overseas, but has since moved back to the states. The other parent (who has the children) resides in Kentucky, but at the time was not a legal resident of Kentucky.
  • Recently in my apartment the refrigerator went out andwas repaired by a repair man the manager sent over and the repairman stated that for me to write out a list of food that was lost and take to the office.this was done and I also sign the paper stating that this in fact did happen.the manager stated that under normal situation the landlord is not responsible for the food that was lost,but because the repairman stated that he would make sure I would get paid for food lost.I would have to take this up with my insurance (Renter's insurance) about $75-100 worth of groceries.The manager has offered to deduct $75 dollars off of rent for the following month,and i agreed to this. The question is am I to be responsible for food that was lost ,when the appliance came with the apartment?this is not the first time this has happen to me.should I contact my insurance company regarding this issue?

  • My son purchased a home for me. I have lived in it for 16 months. Now he wants me out of the house. Everyone knows the House was given to me. My other son lives with me.   • my mother recently passed aay. her real estate deed has a joint tenancy w/ rights of survivorship, naming my aunt. my mothers wishes were that the home be sold and proceds devided between my sister and myself..i have lived and cared for my mother for the past 4 years, paying taxes, utilities and so forth. can my aunt list the house for sale at such a high dollar amount, that will never even be considered by buyers? can she make me move ( I am disabled ) when I have nowhere, and not enough income to purchase another dwelling? she (aunt) has already removed all of my mothers personal belongings (clothing,jewelry, cash car I don't understand please advise me, I don't know what to do. thank you so very much
