QUESTIONS

  • My landlord issued a letter in May, stating that that was my 48 hour notice that she would begin showing my apartment to potential tenants. However, she is stating that she can show it from 12:30-7:30pm every day of the week with that notice. Is that legal?
  • I filed for ch. 7 bankruptcy and my debts were discharged on June 2011. To this date I'm badly behind on my house payments, and my lender offers me a reduced monthly payment of $350. The problem is that my lender does not want to make any promises in writing and does not give me straight answers on what happens if I keep my end of the deal. I'm affraid my lender will simply foreclose when it may fit its interest, disregard of my needs. Also, it is wise to enter into any deals post bankruptcy if my debts are discharded already and thus, uncollectable? Thanks!
  • We have 2 homes 3 mortgages all mortgages were with Bank (Proper name removed). Our residential home is on trial modification. Bank sold the loan in July with our investment property to a loan servicing company (Proper name removed) before I could finish with it's modification, I want to modify our HELOC loan that Bank holds on the investment property also. If I can't modify these 2 loans the house may go into foreclosure. My question: If Loan Servicer suggests fore closer whats going to happen with our HELOC loan with Bank.? Loan is around $101,000 HELOC at 83,000 and house is worth about 145,000.We really don't know whats best for us

  • I got "married" at age seventeen to, (unknown to me at the time), a person who was in the country illegally. He was a permanant resident who had his residency pulled after recieving three felonies two years prior to our marriage. He was arrested and deported again four years ago. I was to annul the marriage, and also make sure I legally have full custody of our two children. Where do I start?
  • I live in San Diego now, but was receiving UI from Arizona. My benefits were cut because I am in a training program that pays a stipend. UI insists that the stipend is income, but no taxes were taken out. I need to file an appeal.
  • I was wondering what can I do if the mother is not paying child support? The children are 16 & 17 both are still in school. The original order was: Children stay with mother and father had to pay child support. Now the children are staying with us full time in another State and mother is not paying child support or sending any funds. Father is scared to ask for support. I help what the children needs but I feel its not fair that she's not paying her end. What can I do to have her start paying for child support? I want to do this anonymously? Do I have rights as a step parent to turn her in?
  • Moved into renovated home was to be done by 6/18 (day moved in). Upon arrival; 2 baseball size holes in 2 windows & piles of trash under carport. Due to incorrect measurements windows would be another week. Week1 dryer vent had to be re-cut, electrician rewired house due to fire hazard. Week2 plumbing unable to do laundry 2weeks now, family has to share 1 bathroom, windows not replaced. Week3 windows replaced 7/1–7/6, plumbing on hold to find better price (laundry?), & still sharing bathroom. Was given 1 months free rent but asking us to pay full electricity bill. What are her obligations?
  • What is the definition of habitable under AZ law. If move into apt. that has new carpet that makes one sick would that be uninhabitable? Thanks
  • I have been complaining to my land lord about the roof leaking and my water heater not working it wasnt fixed nor did she reply i recently lost my job and explaind my situation i send money every other week, once i fell behind thats when she sent a 5 day notice can she do that when ive been making payments and she hasnt fixed anything ?
