QUESTIONS

  • I was evicted I still have belongings in the residence and my landlord refused to return . When does the 21 days my landlord must keep my property begin. Is it the day I went to court or when the constable licks you out?
  • My fiancé and I moved out of our apartment at the end of December 2013 and just not received a cleaning fee. It's been a year and 5 months. After we moved out we went back 2 months and asked if we owed money and they said no. Now we get cleaning fee year and a half later. Can they do that? Isn't there like time frame they have to bill me? Please help me thanks.
  • I got married to someone incarcerated in 2005, at the time I didn't know he had a life sentence. I soon heard that a marriage was not legal if someone had a life sentence or had to be consummated. In AZ there are no conjugal visits allowed. I was not ok with some things he was doing and I asked for a divorce in 2007 and stopped all contact. We do not have anything in common and want to know if I file for annulment or divorce and how to go about that, I would like to be divorced and get my maiden name restored. He stated that he will not give me a divorce or sign papers.
  • when a commisioner signes a court order with /s/ instead of a real signature, is this still a legal signature. I was reading that if a judge wasn't to sign a court order that it mean other things - this is why I ask.
  • My boyfriend and I filled out an application to an apartment complex but never received keys or signed the lease and now they want to charge us $2400 for changing our minds about the apt and not moving in. Is this legal?
  • How do I as a surviving sibling get my sister to give copies of my parents will? They are both deceased and the property is over $600,000
  • I was convicted of felony theft on July 3 2000, in Yavapai county .At sentencing, the judge said to me. "After you complete probation, come back and see me, and we will take this off your record". I called the court after completing probation. To do what was told to me by the judge. The court of Yavapai told me, " I have no idea as to what it is that we can do for you". Your convicted, is a conviction of law, there's nothing to do for you. Last year I mailed a request to have a say in this matter. I was given a court date. I could not make this date 4/28 . I received a letter saying to bad.
  • my wife had a car repossessed three plus years ago. can the collection agency come after me as a spouse and possibly garnish wages if i have no involvement
  • I and another coworker have become pregnant, since informing our employer of our current conditions our job responsiblities have changed dramatically, the employer has not treated us with respect and has caused undue stress on us both. Also the employer has denied us time off for doctor's appointments and refuses to work with our current schedules to accommadate our appointments. Where are we covered under the FMLA or are we? We have fewer then 15 employees and we are a non-profit organization.
  • This is an odd question for Arizona, but in the summer my landlord keeps the thermostat locked when he is in town. He is a rather large man, and keeps the A/C at 69 during the summer. Myself and my roommate nearly have to wear winter garments to be comfortable. Not only is this a waste of electricity, but it is extremely uncomfortable for his tenants. Is there anything I can do about this? Legally.
