QUESTIONS

  • My ex and I bought a house in Feb 2018 and after he cheated on me we broke up. The title is in both of our names so I know he has just as much as a right as I do for the house. However, I am living there until we make a decision on how we will be handling the house. On 9/27 he came in and took appliances out of the home. Is this legal? I was lead to believe that the appliances could not be removed or sold by either parties.
  • I am about 12 days late on rent but i already told the landlord i will pay rent on the 28th my refrigerator is mot working and i told him about it and he refuses to make the repair till rent is paid can he do that?
  • My roommate and I signed a lease together. She moved all of her stuff out, while I was on vacation, yet doesn't want to cancel the lease and continue paying her rent. I am pretty sure she is going to flake out on my lease, which will therefor hurt her and I. What steps do I need to take to get this resolved in regards to suing her.
  • If our garage broke, we could close it, and our property manager stated "their repair guy" could not come for 2 days and we had to secure the premises; we had to pay $350 for a repair man to JUST shut the door. 2 days later "their repairman" came and replaced the door. Now my landlord, per the property manager, is saying he will only give us $65 back since we didnt use "their repairman"! I have all of the emails as that is the ONLY way to speak with our property manager.
  • In Sept 2017 I signed a lease with XXXXX apt. Rent was behind 2 months. Never received an eviction notice, but my locks did get changed, and always in contact with Leasing Manager. I showed up with rent for both months, and she said, no I am not going to rent I am going to evict you. So, I left came back for my stuff, and Feb 2018 I get a bill for $18k that I need to pay for the 12 months. Is that legal?
  • My car was repossessed and I was only 7 days late from the due date which was on the 15th and I have a 10 day grace period, is this a legal repossession? I also had my purse in the car and was not even able to get that out what rights do I have to get my personal belongings. Please help.

You’re worthless. Etc” We know said Mother will not provide any monetary support and will continue to cash his SS as his legal guardian. After 6 months in these circumstances will we have grounds to petition for legal custody on grounds of abandonment? And is there any legal loop hole that will grant us the ability to file for custody IN AZ prior to 6 months?
