have a prior conviction for attempted 1st degree murder. did 13yrs and finished parole. got arrested during a search of my house, i was told i am a prohibited posspossessor and that the two folding pocket knives were ion violation. they were gerber knives . they are now going to use my prior feloney to enhance my sentance. is this legal, and can i have the pocket knives?
