My hhusband has a child from befor we where married. He was never married to this woman, we are looking into how to get custody or joint custody of his son. Do we need to do a legal paternity test if he is already on the birth certificate and he doesn't question that he's the father?

I live in some apts and about 2wks ago we got a notice on our door saying we owe $146 frm this past months rent(sept) we ask what its for since we always pay a lil extra on rent. They tell us we r now since Aug. Are being billed separately for our water,trash,elected etc. Our lease states we r on a fixed rate. They say they sent out notices in April, we never got one. We asked if they changed it in our lease and they say they will not be changing it on leases cause its too much work. Can they do that? And what can we do about it?

We notified landlord we are terminating our lease that is effective through September 08. We actually vacated the house June 11. We asked landlord to find another tenant that could move in before out lease is up so we can get out of our lease early. Landlord said they were looking for new tenant but then said they wanted their friends to move in Jan. 09. They are playing with our money now by not looking for a new tenant. Can they do that?

My apartment manager has given me a hand written notice to vacated the property in 24 hours. I have 2 minor children and no money. Can she make me leave in 24 hours

2014 we lease a car for 36 months st $ 229.00 a month gave our our 2004 mint condition as down payment supposedly % 5000.00 we need a larger vehicle we were moving so went to see what they could do.The.dealer paid off the Camry but added it to the truck,our payments now $579.91for 84 months.what the salesman didn't tell us that they wrapped amount of the Camry to the truck payment, so we are paying for 2 cars and they kept the car .We only have one vehicle. Is that legal? What they did? We pay $579.91 monthly,to much.our solely monthly low income is 1773.00 combined.we tried to refinance with other banks but were denied they said we owe more than the vehicle was worth.we are up to our neck with to many bills If we voluntary turned up the vehicle can they go after our only assets,a2bedroom little house? Please help,can't afford lawyer fees bankruptcy is not an option. We always have good credit,we manage with credit cards.

My 35 year old son lives with me, but recently I've been having two problems. The first is he keeps his room so filthy, it's unhealthy. Clothes all over, along with food containers over r, which will lead to insect problems that I don't want in my home. The other problem, recently he has been bringing over a girl that I don't want in my house. She comes in and uses the shower, my hair and bathing products. She brings her dog, that is destructive. I normally have no problems with his friends, both male and female, but I don't trust her, I don't want her and her dog here. What can I do legally

I just moved into a house that i am renting. I received my first gas and water bill witch were outrageous prices. After calling the water and gas company we discovered that there was a leak under the house. They discovered that the remodel was done improperly breaking on of the pipes. He fixed the issue in a matter of days. But i feel that i should not have to pay the water or gas bill. He is refusing to pay them. Is there anything I can do?

We test drove a used truck for sale (private seller). We gave the man $500 deposit. The next day, we discovered we couldn't obtain the rest of the money ($2700 total selling price) but he had already cashed the $500 check and said he has no legal obligation to give any of it back. Is he right?

i owe 20k in child support through DES but mom is stating that i am not the father. If i get a paternity test and am proven not the father, will i still have to pay the back owed support?
