While curfew laws are understandable, and diversionary classes are available for first offences, the problem I have with it is that even if the parent of the child is on a fixed income, there is no assistance for the fees.

I attended this class when I got my divorce. Its a very informative class and a big eye opener on how, as a parent to act in the best interest of your child(ren) and provides resources in your community you can go to for help.

Being 15, this curfew law doesnt always make sence to me. But I understand it is in place for my safety & well being, & im glad that it is a law.

I am 17, and my girlfriend is 17. We had out child pretty early and she is still in custody of her mother of course. Her mother denies my mother, sister and I visitation rights. Being a minor, would I have visitation rights?

Its hard to let the children know that both parents are there for them when one has abandonded them 100%!The parenting class does not help you to deal with those issues! It's all based on what a good parent already knows!It's 40 bucks for who?

my husband has a custody case with his ex and she's no where to be found. She has not spoke or seen her child for a year 1/2. Can we still file for abandonment even though we can not find her and serve her?

Instead of relying on the ex go straight to the source if it is important to you & language in the decree does not prohibit you from doing so. It's not necessary to attend meetings/appts with ex, separate appts should be able to be made.

If a person has temperal custody of a child and the ex passes away does the person(parent) need to let the court know that the person died so they(the parent)can be awarded full custody? Or is it automatic.

what type of class is this, how many hours, what does it cover? WHat if teh parent has not seeh the child for over4 years, has drug and gun charges and refuses to obey court orders?

I really need assistance finding out how to file a complaint about a court appointed advisor. He is being impartial and does not care about the well being of my children.
