I have been renting a trailer on a property lot it has been falling apart its not leveled also I think it has asbestos, but I complained asked the landlord to fix things they refused so I offered they refuse to allow me to do it but I stay in because I can't afford any where else. Now its 2yrs later she wants me to move out because its not livable & it does have asbestos it has been admitted by the landlord but refuses to admit in writing to help me get into housing my question is How can I get help to inspect the unit for proof without having to pay I'm on disability so I'm not homeless?

I recently received a notice from a collection agency stating that I owe $482 for services provided at the apartment complex. I was told at their main office that the charge was for the replacement of the glass stove top and paint. My lease ended on August 19th, 2013; when I went to the office to turn in the keys and schedule a moving out walk-through I was told that it wasn't necessary as no deficiencies were found in the apartment. It's been about 5 months since I moved out and not once did I receive a statement of charges. What should I do?

Two of my rental properties have stopped watering their lawns, so now all grass is gone. I pay for landscaping when my tenants water or there are weeds, but no need lately with no grass or weeds. My concern, though, is that both homes have large queen palms, that are dying or dead from no watering, I believe. If lack of watering kills the palms, can I charge the renter for the removal?
