  • My ex wife has decided to quit her job, remove my daughter from school and live abroad for a year (and homeschool my daughter). While I do think this would be a great experience for my daughter, I do think a year is too long and I also struggle with the fact that her mother may meet someone there and never move back home. What legal action can I take PROACTIVELY (prior to her leaving the country) to make sure that it is a court order that she is only there for 6 months maximum and that she is required to send proof of homeschooling to me.
  • I have received a notice to move in 30 days...actually it is only 28 days as they did not figure Feb being a short month...is this legal? They want me to move in the middle of the month...my lease is up in 9/15 - they have given me no reason. Is this legal? Can they evict me? What can I do to stop this?   • I recently filed to relocate myself and my son to California. After his father and I could not agree on the move, the case was given to the judge for decision and it was declined. According to our parenting plan, neither parent is allowed to take the child out of state for vacation. My mom, whom has helped me raise my son since age 1, is wanting him to visit but without his dad's approval he is not able to go. Would my mom be able to file for grand parent's rights? And would this allow for him to be able to travel to California for vacation? All advice appreciated.
  • There was a pipe leaking by my parking spot for the last couple months. My water/sewer/trash Bill almost doubled for the last couple months. We pay w/s/t with our rent when it is due but we get a separate w/s/t bill and it shows that for almost 2 years my w/s/t was roughly the same until last month. The complex gets one bill and divides it by common area the apts pay the rest is divided to the residents. I believe the complex wasn't paying for their leaking pipe they were dividing it amongst the apt units. Can they legally do that?

  • I have owned a mobile home (and leased a space)in a 55+ park for 12 yrs. New owner has converted the park into a noisy " RV " park , allowing noisy off-road vehicles to screech up and down the streets where the residents live. The noise is unnerving, invasive and violates any concept of 'quiet enjoyment ' .The owners refuse to do anything about it. Residents have invested much for their mobile homes in this park . Can the landlord be compelled to cease allowing noisy off-road vehicular traffic in the park to ensure peace and quiet for the residents??
  • I live in a mobile home court. Ive lived here for 5 years. I have 2 dogs a cat and a bird. My landlord is now tell all of us in the court we can only have 2 pets. I've had these animals for 5 years. Dogs have a fenced yard never get out of yard. Cat is inside outside. Bird lives in my house. She goes outside only in the summer always supervised. Can make yhey make me get ridof my pets? I own my trailer have never been late on lot rent. Hived lived here for 5 years
