  • My Landlord is charging me late fees because I owe late fees. Can they do that? They charge $10 a day for late fees and I only pay $579. in rent. I know that they take out late fees first with any money you give them so they keep you behind so they can keep charging you late fees. How can that be legal?
  • We just moved in a month ago to our first apt and we have a pitbull and boxer mix and we disclosed that info on day one. The lady we talked to the first day said it wouldnt be a problem and the just put in boxer for the breed. Fastforward to a day ago we get a notice saying that there was a complaint that we had a pitbull and they are not allowed at my apt complex. I went to the office sayong there was clearly a mistake but no she gave me a ten day notice to get rid of my dog or give 30 days notice of us wanting to move out. I read over the lease agreement and the pet addendum and there is nothing about breed restrictions or pitbulls. Who is in the wrong and where do I stand legally?

  • My boyfriend and I see his seven year old son every other weekend. I learned the child might not have medical insurance. In the Court documents; it states that the mother is responsible for his medical. The child has never seen a dentist and complains of pain when brushing his teeth. Is that grounds for neglect? I am a manitory reporter, I am worried if I let it go, I could get into trouble myself if child has injury or gets sick.
