I have a Friend in Arizona that is in a 12 month lease and she has stated that they signed an addendum specifying that if they break the lease they will have to leave in 3 days period. She and her sister who doesn't live on the property are both on the lease according to her. Question, can one be on a lease if they don't live in the Apartment ? Question can the landlord set the addendum up in such a way that if the lease is broken she would have to leave in 3 days. ? As well if her sister decides to break her part of the lease but my friend wants to stay ?

I recently moved to Arizona from Oregon. I tried to be seen by a local internist and was refused service without an explanation. I have no conditions which could make me a concern. I asked the office for their evaluation criteria and they would not provide it. If they are going to refuse service, they should at least state the grounds for doing so.

I am a single mother and caretaker for my 92 year old grandfather. He is stable but declining rapidly. I am about to put him on home Hospice care. My lease is about to expire (at the end of June) and my landlord gave me very short notice that they are not renewing my lease and want me out. I'm afraid that a move right now would destabilize my grandfather and will lead to his death soon after a move. It is very difficult for me because we are low income and finding a place and moving in four weeks will be very difficult. Any help you can provide would be appreciated.

I live in a senior mobile home park in Phoenix, AZ and own my home. The park owner is sending threatening notices that he is making a new rule that all tenants have to provide proof of homeowners insurance and minimum coverage shall include comprehensive liability, fire and windstorm insurance, and coverage for the removal of home in case of a total loss. None of us seniors can afford this. Wouldn't the AZ Landlord and Tenant Agreement Act, ARS 33-1452 - Rules and regulations, Item B pertain to this?
