  • Landlord gave permission for me to move out early and help find another tenant. Its been almost 2 months and no one has been approved. Landlord has changed rent price multiple times in ad and doesn't follow up with possible applicants. Plus repairs being done to place means I haven't lived at property all of June. Can I just move on and not worry about paying rent and get my deposit back? My lease is through Dec. 2016, but my landlord doesn't seem to be very quick on finding a new tenant or making sure repairs are done in a timely manner. Repairs are on the chiller system and bathroom as well.

  • My lease is coming up for renewal at a complex that recently changed ownership. My neighbor is currently reviewing the new lease and trying to decide to stay or leave. The lease has an addendum saying that Tenants will be chaged CAM fees for ALL common area maintenance and repairs and all expenses to operate the property. They will determine the amount of each tenant's share by dividing the entire cost of CAMs divided by the number of units leased (not the number of units within the complex).   • I sent my July rent on the 30th of June, the 8th my landlord tells me am late and to send rent and late fees. I sent him an email telling him I had sent it since the 30th, no response. I sent him another one saying that I will resend the check again, no response either. apparently he hasn't receive the new check either. Becouse it hasn't cleared. I asked him if he had gotten it and he said he would check and get back to me but no answer yet. I have no returned mail. Is it possible he wants to evict me?
