As a former tenant. I did not have a final walk through with former landlord. He repeated said I didnt have to be present. I met with him after he sent me an itemized repair list. When I showed up to property. To my knowledge all of the repairs he itemized where repaired. He did most of the work. I never had a final walk through nor sign of on the damages he is charging me for. Nor was I allowed to fix the problem myself. He simply took it upon himself to fix the problems before I had an opportunity to fix myself. Did he violate my rights?

My Landlord has started Eviction proceedings and has become quite vicious about the whole issue. I do not dispute the fact that I am late with the rent. (Serious Medical Issues arose) and have been attempting to make arrangements for the arrears and current amounts due. He is refusing to discuss that option. He is now adding that I am a problem to the other neighbors, in addition huge maintenance list he has told me has cost the landlord undue stress and hardship. I have over 100 pictures available to show the condition upon move in and he refuses to see them as well. Opinions? Regards, KFP

MY BOYFRIEND AND I LEAVE IN ABILENE TX, AND HIS EX LIVES IN MESA AZ, WE HAVE TO DRIVE 13 1/2 HOURS TO PICK UP HIS 4YR OLD SON, IS THERE NOT ANYTHING WE CAN DO TO CHANGE THE ORDER TO HAVE HER MEET US? THINGS HAVE CHANGED SINCE THE ORDER WAS WRITTEN, HIS JOB HAS CHANGED AS WELL! SHE DOESN'T FOLLOW THE ORDER LIKE SHE IS SUPPOSED TO, WE HAD TO CALL THE POLICE LAST TIME BC SHE WASN'T HOME FOR US TO DROP HIM OFF. ITS GETTING REALLY FRUSTATING

Can I be evicted or forced to move to another apartment for complaining to management about a roommate, who is on a separate lease, who daily raises the volume on her audio device in her bedroom to a level that I can hear it in my bedroom, with both bedroom doors closed, and where I cannot be on the telephone because the other party cannot hear me over her music?

My husband & I moved to AZ from MI 3 yrs ago.We have had custody of his son since 2006. We we granted a chnge in domicile in 2008. Can we file for a change in jurisdiction? His parenting time is one week for spring break,one week for christmas and 6 weeks during summer.If we can file for change in jurisdiction, do we file in AZ or MI?

My work did not pay me for two weeks instead they give me $40 loans that I had to pay back. I paid back one. But for my last check they cashed it without my permission took the money I owe and give me the rest in an envelope. I want to know is it OK for them to do that?

My grown granddaughter borrowed almost $10,000 from me three years ago. In the last two years she has repaid $30. She has money to party and is planning a fancy wedding. I have started garnishment proceedings but that is getting expensive. I did receive a judgement against her but she is ignoring that. I really can't afford to keep paying out sums to the court, an attorney etc. Where can I receive advise? My taxes are very high but my home and car are all I own.

I had a one year lease. I had a clause put in stating that. At the end of lease we had the option to extend the lease with no rent increase for 6 months if paid in advance. I excercised that right. Gave letter and check(6 months rent). They tried to make me sign a new lease for one year at a large rental increase. I refused. Now my 6 month lease is up in 2 weeks. Recieved letter stating, I owe $600.00 plus late charges for last months rent. I have a contract. They sent me eviction for nonpayment five day letter. What do I do? I have to pay rent what amount?
