QUESTIONS

  • I was convicted of DV Agg. Assault w/ a Deadly Weapon in 2001. I served 3.5 yrs. for this crime. I was under the influence of drugs/alcohol at the time, and also going thru a bitter divorce suit. I am wondering if there is any way I can get my gun rights restored? I am not planning on going hunting, or shooting someone, but with the crime rate escalating due to the economy staggering, I would NOT want to be sentenced to prison for protecting my own life as a prohibited possessor. What, if any, steps do I need to take to attempt to restore my rights. Thank You for you time !!!

  • My baby's mom passed away before we could get married and put my name on the birth certificate. Question here is what should I do to get things done so I can have my daughter?
  • My mother is 85 and being treated by a naturopathic doctor. My sister and I are concerned that the care she is getting is harming her overall health. We have contacted the Naturopathic Physician Medical Board to file a complaint. They are willing to move forward and subpoena her medical records for review. The problem is that they say there is no way to keep this physician from mentioning it to our mother. We feel that our mother puts an abnormal amount of "faith" in this physician and that she has been, for lack of a better word, "brainwashed" into believing that he can do no harm. We want to proceed without fear that he will convince my mother that we are "the bad guys." What do we need to do to proceed without fear that he will discuss this with our mother? Any suggestions or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

  • This is an odd question for Arizona, but in the summer my landlord keeps the thermostat locked when he is in town. He is a rather large man, and keeps the A/C at 69 during the summer. Myself and my roommate nearly have to wear winter garments to be comfortable. Not only is this a waste of electricity, but it is extremely uncomfortable for his tenants. Is there anything I can do about this? Legally.

  • A few years ago my husband and i went to a lawyer and went through the process of appointing a legal guardian for our children, if we should happen to pass away. We have the paperwork at home, in our safe. However, the couple we appointed at the time is not who we want now. What do we have to do to get it changed? We were told we could just write who we want now on a different piece of paper and get that notarized. Is that correct?
