QUESTIONS

  • The Manager says I have to fix my driveway because it is crumbling and full of holes that were there when I rented their lot 20 years ago and now are worse because the driveway was thin and inferior. I have not signed a document that says I am responsible for the repair of their driveway. Do I have to repair their driveway?
  • Two of my rental properties have stopped watering their lawns, so now all grass is gone. I pay for landscaping when my tenants water or there are weeds, but no need lately with no grass or weeds. My concern, though, is that both homes have large queen palms, that are dying or dead from no watering, I believe. If lack of watering kills the palms, can I charge the renter for the removal? Thank you.
  • is there any way for me to file child support and not have to pay for it because i don't have the money to pay and if not how much will it cost for all the filing fee?
  • When my daughter turns 18 next October, I know she will no longer get child support. She will still be high school till May 2019 and is disabled. My question is she has back child support and I don’t care if she doesn’t get any of it. I just want to know if there is a hearing I would have to go to when she turns 18? If there is, could I hire a lawyer to go to the hearing for me? My daughter’s father was abusive and I don’t want to see him at court. Thanks.
  • I have a 17 yr old daughter who has a baby and just moved back with me. She was staying at a friends house for 3 months! She turns 18 in January she is mean to me calls me names and is mean to her brother who has autism! Is there anyway I can make her and her baby move before she turns 18?
  • In 2008, my only uncle put everything he owned, including his business he had for over 30 years, into a revocable trust naming my sister and I as co successor trustees and me as the executor of his estate. My uncle passed away September 22, 2014 and my sister wants to sell the business...but I have been running the business and want to keep it. She has moved away and declared she wants nothing to do with it. Will I be forced to buy her out in order to keep the business? Or because it was a gift that she doesn't want isn't that just like refusing any other gift? Thank you, Lisa

  • We had an 80/20 mortgage on our home. In Feb it was foreclosed on. The first lender shows as a foreclosure but the 2nd lender(chase) shows as a charge off. I was told that there is something in the state of AZ that requires both lenders to report it as a foreclosure. Is there a provision code that I can contact Chase with to have the reporting changed to Foreclosure? Thank you..
  • My landlord and her husband and friend came to do yard maintance, with my permission. Later when I went outside, I noticed my large area rug that I had rolled up and put up on back patio was gone along with all the Large trash bags I had put aside of aluminum cans. It was obvious I collected/saved aluminum cans, I had desingated a assigned area in the corner of the yard with a "make shift small fence. I asked her about them and she told me that she would discuss those items when she sees me, I should have rights, to me that is like stealing?
