Recently in my apartment the refrigerator went out andwas repaired by a repair man the manager sent over and the repairman stated that for me to write out a list of food that was lost and take to the office.this was done and I also sign the paper stating that this in fact did happen.the manager stated that under normal situation the landlord is not responsible for the food that was lost,but because the repairman stated that he would make sure I would get paid for food lost.I would have to take this up with my insurance (Renter's insurance) about $75-100 worth of groceries.The manager has offered to deduct $75 dollars off of rent for the following month,and i agreed to this. The question is am I to be responsible for food that was lost ,when the appliance came with the apartment?this is not the first time this has happen to me.should I contact my insurance company regarding this issue?

I purchased a home a couple of years ago and I want to register a Home Stead declaration, as I spoke to the Escrow company they mentioned that I did not have to do the declaration any more, that I was covered under the home stead decl. automaticaly, is that true?

Father was diagnosed with alteimers. My parents marriage lasted till his death .couple months after she remarried. I am his only child also have 2 half sisters. When my fathers will was made he had already began early stages of alteimers and dimentia. I was not included in the will. My half sister who put my father in jail prior to his last days is on his will as well as my mother. I wanted to know what rites I have being his only daughter.

I am finalizing my divorce decree, and my previous lawyer added his fees to my decree with a date when payments needs to start. I am completely broke, lost my job and all my money. I won’t be able to pay his payments set up on the decree. Can file bankruptcy and get ridge of this debt?

My father passed away 10/22/13. He had a Revocable Family Trust, I was listed as a cotrustee. I was promised a copy of the trust several times but haven't seen it yet. If wife of 7 or 8 years is refusing to let me see it and says it will now be changed and if there's anything left when she passes we'll get then. Is she required by law to give me a copy of the trust now? Don't I have a right to see what the trust says on the day of my father's death? Please advise.

My boyfriend of 2 years and I had our daughter in December 2015. He is the biological father and signed the birth certificate in the hospital and acknowledgment of paternity. My baby also has his last name and not mine on the birth certificate. Unfortunately we no longer want to be together. My question is can I get full custody of my daughter even though she has his last name on the birth certificate? Do I have any rights as her mother if he tries to fight for her too?

I have been seoerated from my husband for the last 8 week. He told me to take my two boy age 6 & 8 and move to my sisters in Nevada. I have both boys in school here and have a new job . befor my paper were filed with the Nevada. He filed in AZ. I was served today with paper stating I must return the children to Flagstaff.
