QUESTIONS

  • Disabled people living in a rented mobile home but now landlord wants us to paint the porch and power wash the mobile home
  • Can the apartment management come in to my apartment and take photographs? I refused but they did it anyway, I asked him to leave and he ignored me. The photos included my entire kitchen, my pantry that I purchased and it has glass doors (not part of the apartment, a stand alone cabinet) and my bathroom. We had recent repairs but he didn't take photos in the areas repaired and refused to answer why. My personal belongings were in the photo. The apartment was very clean, nothing Out of compliance but I feel my rights were violated.
  • I found mold in my bathroom ceiling, as well as a few other places, so I scheduled a mold professional to come out and the property owner or landlord won't let us they are trying to have maintenance come determine and fix the issue, I need to know my rights and if I need an attorney or not because mine and my 9 month old son have had skin reactions and health issues include him wheezing and difficulty breathing, he's been congested since we moved in.

With no option to stay, finding a new one with the money to put down was crucial. My spouse works an 'Essential' job in unsanitary conditions-in fear of contracting covid-19. Can we defend more time when its safe?
  • Can my landlord evict me if my electricity is out due to non-payment.? In the lease it states that water and trash is included and electric and gas is the tenants responsibility. Our electric has been off for 5 days but we've payed the bill and will be back on tomorrow morning. Can my landlord give us a notice of immediate termination ?
  • Landlord has not filed with the county as a rental. Landlord died and no local contact from 2012 to 2016 and NO CONTACT from 2016 until 5/2018. I had request the cooler be replaced, but no action taken by respondent. Trust attorney now forcing me to purchase or evict, without any repairs to house.
  • Two weeks ago I had a discussion with my landlord and his wife about being two weeks late on my rent and would need to pay it on the 14th of November. They were kind and said that would be fine and to come in around rent time to fill out a promissory note. During that time and now his (the landlord's) wife left him because he was very abusive. Now Sunday Nov 2nd I went in to fill out the contract to pay on the 14th and the landlord said he was evicting anyone who had anything to do with her. What can I do I am a single dad with no family in AZ.
