  • My niece used her grandfather's SSN and DOB and baby's SSN and DOB to obtain loans from a payday loan place online. She did not repay the loans and they went to collections. The collection agency called her grandfather to collect. In order for the debt to be deleted from her grandfather, he had to file a police report. What is the possibility of my niece being charged with identity theft and or fraud? What would the possible sentence be?
  • I have requested for the last 3 months to be removed from the lease of an mobile park space lease. My roommate who is primary has agreed. I have npt signed to renew and placed 30 day notice prior to renewal. The management is refusing to remove me from the lease and says they do not need my signature to keep me on it indefinitely. I would like to know what I have to do to leave the lease immediately. I am sending a certified mail to inform them to remove me from lease and my intention to leave.
  • New tenant been here for almost two months. Ac is on roof. The morning after i got key to apartment the roof tile where the ac unit is collapsed because of the drain was not working so the comdensation leaked and made the roof tile collapse. Next day they came to fix. About 3 weeks later ac quit blowing cold and needed more freon. Now maybe another 3 weeks the roof tile collapsed again, the ac drain is not operating and ac is not blowing cold. The water the ac is leaking has a yellow tint to it. From what ive researched thats an indication of the freon leaking inside the dwelling.moretoadd!
  • My family’s abuser (We’ve had an order of protection since October) has repeatedly contacted my father, threatening to call CPS on me. Tonight I saw him spying in a live stream video from my business instagram—it was not an account I knew, but definitely him. My bank account was also hacked into and I’m positive it was a move meant to send a message, as he used to control my finances and I thought this was the only card he never knew about. The court said call the police, the police say he’s allowed to do this. I’m scared and don’t know where to turn. Domestic advocacy places aren’t responding
  • I currently live out of state with my children. My ex's lawyer and him have manipulated the truth and twisted things around to make things go in his favor knowing I would not be able to afford the legal counsel to continue the fight. Can I somehow stop him from using that lawyer in the future? How can I find a lawyer now that my family and I are tapped out and we are still paying legal fees? We still have several issues and I would like a mediator/lawyer to correct things however, I do not know where to start now that we are in another state and I can't afford legal counsel.   • Clicked to renew my lease and got an email accepting that request. Went to log on to the website to sign the new lease and it was not available. Informed the apartment management and received an email saying they would write it up and send it, however I still have not received anything. Can they for some reason not renew my lease after the initial acceptance? My current lease is up at the end of June, if I did not want to renew I would have had to give 60 days written notice. Can they give me less than I am required to give them if they do not renew for some reason?
