QUESTIONS

  • Am I responsible for debt incurred prior to marriage at anytime?
  • Can I put a restraining order on my wife for myself and our three children? We are in the middle of a divorce and the kids live with me, I take care of them, she hardly calls or comes to see them but everytime I don't give her money she threatens to take them and remove them from school while I'm at work? I need an order of protection to keep her away until the court hearing. Can I do this?

(student loan)I know Arizona is a community property state but am unsure if I am responsible for her debt. I never signed on any loans and she has no estate to distribute to creditors. Her name was not on the house, cars, or anything. I don't feel like I am responsible for the debt but thought the law might see it differently. I have not contacted the collection agency.

When asking about hot water and have called them 3 times last week and also texted a few times and told on phone the will look into it and call me back and so far nothing. Text messages go unanswered and this is how the landlord wants to communicate with us. what are my rights as a tenant. This is all included in my rent..
