  • My husband and I just bought a condo, and we don't have hot water. Our HOA charges us for hot water (boiler is used), but we don't receive any. Our water comes out at 100°F as the warmest. I've spoken with HOA & he started that it will be about 8 months before we get any hot water due to the repairs needed. Should we still be charged for hot water usage? Is it legal to not provide hot water to tenants and charge them for it?

  • I have a service dog and was recently informed that my apartment cannot charge me rent for him. However, at the time of my move in, I was unaware of this and the landlord did not make this known to me so I have paid $20 a month pet rent for the past two years. Am I entitled to reimbursement? They say it was not their responsibility to inform me and that they are not obligated to inform tenants of this exception. And that it was my responsibility to know this about my dog and to inform them. They are no longer charging me as of July as I have now documented that the dog is exempt

  • my girlfriend was arrested for domestic violence. The cops left my son with me. The next day i had to go to work, so i left him with my parents. She took the cops over there and got him since she knew i was at work. Now she will not let me see him at all. She wont return my txts, to let me know how hes doing. I keep texting her that i want to know and see my child but she doesnt respond. What court papers do i need to file? I want to get him back right away. I want custody of him. I can provide a better home for him because shes at her parents. which alot of people live there.

For example my wife and I are getting a divorce we actually agreed to me oaying a certain amount of child support which comes to about 400 to 500 for both of my kids a month. She is to keep the house and all the items there in. we have signed all the papers that we need to sign for now and tomorrow we will go and sign the rest of the paper work before the clerk. How long before I get the actual document that says we are legally divorced?
