I got a felony in 2004 in which I was placed on probation all rights were restored exspect the right to bare arms well may of this year my boyfriend was killed there was a gun laying close by his head when I found him I picked up the gun and handed it off so no one could get it now I'm being charged with prohibited is there anyway I can get this dismissed

Is it legal for a landlord to put into our lease a statement that says "If for any reason during the duration of this lease agreement the relationship between Lessor and Lessee is soured, Landlord reserves the right to serve a 30 day written notice to vacate." Isn't this unconscionable? And shouldn't any ability to break a contract be fair to both parties?

My granddaughter's aunt is in the process of getting guardianship of her . Currently her and her husband have temp guardianship for 6 months. I was legally separated 12/7/2017 and the divorce was finalized 01/17/2019.During our separation I allowed my ex-wife to use my truck to drive our son around. She was in a car accident 06/2018 shes at fault (the truck had no insurance, we had a verbal agreement she would pay for it and she did But for afew months).Theres now a civil law suit against us for damages+. On this document its says I’m negligent or lending her my car. she says that legally I am at fault for everything because the truck is only under my name. she caused this car accidents but am I responsible since it’s my car?

Husband keeps threatening me to throw me out of marital home. I have been a stay at home mom since the birth of our first son 12 years ago. I have no income or source of support if he forces me out. What can I do to protect myself and my children. He has been hostile to me in front of my boys, upsetting them. I just listen so that he will stop threatening me and upsetting them.

I am sending this for my mother. My dad left her his retirement to her but nothing else. She has about $25,000 in credit card debt (they bought a vehicle using a credit card with a 2% interest)and has an income of about $4,277 including retirement, veterans benefits and ss. Everything was fine until ill health made it impossible for her to live alone. She sold her mobile home, put the $$ in savings and moved into a senior apartment. She has recently moved into a more expensive assisted care living. Her income is enough to pay her rent but we still have to pay her $600 a month credit cards bills that my dad left her with. She only has about $1,100 in saving so either she files for bankrupcy or she just doesn't pay her credits cards anymore. She does use her credit cards so bad credit will not hurt her. I am sure that her current living location will not kick her out as long as she is paying her rent. What will happen if she doesn't pay her credit card bills anymore?

We know that he is not her biological father, can I have his name removed from the birth certificate in the state we live in? Can I change my daughters last name from his last name to mine?

I am renting a house and the lease states renters are responsible for "yard maintenance." A storm broke 3 large branches on a tree in the backyard, one of which is laying on the patio canopy. The landlord said "I am responsible for yard maintenance. They will pay for any damages." I believe a tree nearly destroyed by a storm is different than yard maintenance and the landlord should have the branches removed and make the determination as to whether the tree should also be removed. Is it legal for them to force the cost of this clean up and potential tree removal on me?

I was incarcerated in july of this year and was released just recently, during that time my wife and 2 children had moved to kansas I am most likely to file for divorce and will be seeking joint custody. I am planning on having the kids for their summer break and winter breaks.Since she is out of state what is the procedure for this to occur and what must I file,also will she have to come back to Arizona for the proceedings or can she remain in Kansas?
