QUESTIONS

  • I am currently renting a condo. The back fence of this condo is "leaning" over badly, and the back gate is not secure to keep "preditors" or unwanted people out. I feel that these issues should be addressed. In my walk-thru I have written these down. The landlord and owner of property know about this and have done nothing. Can I ask them again to address these issues? What is the law for them fixing these issues and do they have to?
  • Had building inspected privately and my unit had black mold. Myself and toddler became sick. They never fixed it. Made it worse by having us live in an unsuitable and unsafe living environment for about 2 weeks. There was water dripping from the open ceiling. They placed a large plastic cover over my bed with an extension chord that was lying over my bed hanging out window and left it. I have a toddler. Rain + Water and an open window! LEFT THE EXTENSION CHORD OUT THE WINDOW not smart. Wasn't fixed in 3 weeks so so I moved and they placed an eviction on my record. Need advice
  • I put in a work order for my microwave to be fixed on July 3rd. It is now July 24th and they have still not fixed the microwave. I call the office and put in another work order, but they keep pushing it off. When I ask why is it taking so long, management gives me different stories.
  • I bought a mobile home a year ago, the park manager told me that he would give me the title if I signed a power of attorney, I did it and he still hasn't given me the title, I asked him for the title a few days ago and he told me to sign another power of attorney to give me the title, is this legal? What can I do to get my MH title?
  • My plumbing is messed up and it is because of the underneath plumbing of my mobile home they have to put in new plumbing pipes to make the flow of water go down better am I responsible for that or is the mobile home Park responsible
  • What needs to happen to get a divorce decree modified as to custody. What are the determining factors - proof of immediate danger to the children? For instance I hate the guy my ex married and I think hes a terrible guy - he had a questionable past including a short time in jail. Is that enough to modify custody?

  • Family Member Home was purchased purchased as a FHA and I lived in the home for the past 3 years, in which I have been living in the property with my family and making the mortgage payments and making Bills payments. Thinking I would be the owner someday. The owner goes behind my back and deeds the property to an investor in CA. When I ask him to sign a deed to me, he's already done so with private investors. I stop making the mortgage payments,since he deeded the hm elsewhere. We are now in foreclosure process and owner is no where to be found. What can I do to keep my family in their home.
  • If a current lease is in place, does a new owner have to honor the lease until it expires?
  • Separated now for 7 months and had to move in with my brother's family in Utah because we had no money. Should I file for divorce in Utah or AZ? We filed & granted Bankruptcy last April. We have very left (furniture). I still help him out with bills occasionally & my name is still on utilities etc. in AZ
