QUESTIONS

  • I was sitting in my car, engine running for four minutes underneath a no parking sign in a paratransit loading zone (Tucson)and was handed a $538 fine which I'm appealing. 1)Is no parking the same as no standing? 2)Does the ticket enforcer need to identify himself?
  • My brother was convicted in Maricopa County of a Felony charge. He has filed a Notice of Post Conviction Relief. He had public defense at the time. Is there anyone that can help us find out what the status is on his NPC filing?
  • If I sign my rights over will I have to still pay child support?
  • What recourse do you have when a judge (new /inexperienced) makes a horrible nonsensical decision on child support payments, arrears in support, health insurance responsibility, massive medical bill responsibility, and all issues went against the custodial mother all responsibility was placed on the mother and no consequences were bestowed upon the dead beat father whatsoever ( the fact that no support had been paid for an entire year not medical bills either was ignored by the judge). The judge ignored the proof the attorney presented and sided with the dead beat. No support continues to date
  • If I have a deferred plea/sentencing does that count as a conviction?
  • My question is: Sept 2003 I got married in San Jose, CA. I moved to Phoenix, AZ the same year in July, We had a daughter May 2004, So what Law would my divorce be under? My husband had a house several year before we got married, and till this day Im not on the title of the house or the Cars we purchased during our marriage, Am I intitled to half of anything if I divorce?? I never changed my last name to my married name can that be an issue??
  • My wife wants a divorce. Mainly to get my name and responsibility off of her. Is there a quick way to do this?
