QUESTIONS

  • My mom is renting a house in Prescott AZ with my sister. The landlord has nailed shut all of the windows for whatever reason, is this legal?
  • I live in a manufactured home on my daughers land. In lieu of space rent, I "sold" my trailer and car to her back in 2010. It is now jointly titled. When I die, I will only have household possessions, clothes, some jewerly. My entire possessions if sold at yard sale prices would probably net less than $2,000. Would my daughter have to do a Small Estate Affidafidt for my few earthly possessions? The cost of filing and hiring a lawyer would surpass the value. I may have to go on Medicaid as well- do they go after personal possessions (not property)? I would hate to have to cause such a burden for such few possessions. Thank you!

However, after learning of the decision, she has told her father she wants to live with me, and she is telling me she wants to tell the judge how she feels, and wants to move with me.
  • My husband and I moved 3 weeks ago in a home that was vacant for three months prior to us .we moved hear from California and I bought all new bedding and linen few days after moving. • Hello, I came across your ad that states you give advice to vets and families.I am the spouse of a 100% service connected deceased Veteran. My daughter got divorced 9/2013. Her ex in 12/2013 had his support cut in half., leaving her very little support. Now he wants to try to get equal parenting time of their 3 year old daughter, so he no longer has to pay any support. He has shown no interest in the child at all, outside of every other weekend and it is obvious his interest is purely about the money. We are very concerned about this, because my grand daughter is very attached to her.
