QUESTIONS

  • I was cited for driving on a suspended license. I did not know my license had been suspended. I read that this criminal charge can result in jail time and fines. This is my first criminal offense. Should I get legal counsel? What are they typical rulings for first time offenders? I have been laid off and am not working, how to I get a public defender's help? Thank you in advance for your advice.
  • Section 33-1319 , part D states that single family homes are excluded from provisitons of this section (bed bug provisions). I own one condo which has an adjoining wall to another condo I do not own. Does this condo count as single family, since I have no control over the other unit?
  • Does the Family Medical Leave Act cover taking time off for an in-law that needs help for medical care?
  • My friend and I was pulled out of the store .possible stolen vehicle.report was called in from border patrol, the Sheriffs department was called in for back and I was arrested for findings from the search. The truck wasn't stolen and our word against them in regards to the giving permission . My question is the responsibility of probable cause by transfer of authority does that diminish when the Border Patrol reported the stolen vehicle does that give probable cause to the sheriff by proxy there should be some case law the states if there was no probable cause by the Border Patrol
  • Signed a lease agreement a few weeks ago to an apartment sight unseen due to current resident. Today, my wife and i received keys to the new apt. Immediately found a roach infestation. In every room and every corner, black and german roaches coming out of the walls. Not one thing has been moved in yet and we were in the apt for about3 minutes. Can we legally terminate and/or nullify this lease pre move in, due to health concerns with our newborn? I have video of the roaches crawling everywhere.
  • Is there a way to see wich doctors are covered by AHCCCS before you apply for the program?

  • My son went to court and got my restraining order against him dismissed. I went to court and got a copy of the proof of service which was signed by his fiancĂ©e. She never served me. Is it legal for her to serve me?
  • Me and my wife got married and my step daughter has my wife's maiden name do we need permission from the father to change her last name to ours? she is starting to get upset that she doesn't have our last name and we would like to correct that. My wife has sole physical custody so we were unsure about the procedure.
