Is there such thing as a modified restraining order that stipulates the defendant may not come to my place of residence during certain hours? I don't want the defendant to not be able to have ANY contact with me, I just don't want him on the premises during certain hours becuz he is disruptive while I am trying to conduct my home business.

I am being evicted due to non-payment of rent, when I asked our landlord if she would use our security deposit towards rent owed, she stated that is not allowed under AZ law. However, in the AZ Landlord and Tenant Act it states that Security deposits may be used towards the payment of all rent. Which is correct?

My boyfriend and I and out 8 year old son are currently renting a house from my boyfriends grandmother. We moved in to the house in may. There was never a written rental agreement but we are paying her cash every month for rent. We have all the utilities in our name, and our mail comes here. Long story short she came to our house, stole our dog and we had her arrested. She is now threatening to evict us (we are looking to move anyways now) but wants us out asap. We have been here been in the house 8 months. Would she have to go through the courts for eviction?

I would like to know if I leave my husband and my house with my baby because I am tired of him for always getting home from work and taking a shower and leaving the house and not coming back until 4am. He does not love me or spend and time with our baby at all. I left my house and he said that he was going to sue me with the (Child Protective Services) for abandoning the home. Can he do that? He also said that he will try to get full custody of our child, but he hardly takes care of her or spend any time with her. I want to divorse him but what can I do to legally leave my house?

joint legal custody, i am the custodial parent, but father has final say. Is the father allowed to deny the child to go to be better school to receive a better education? He has no reason to not allow her to go to the new school other than he doesn't think its necessary. She almost failed 5th grade at her current public school. If I take him to court what are the chances of the judge allowing her to go to the better school? Isn't it supposed to be about what is in the child's best interest, not just about who has final say?
