QUESTIONS

  • I have never been convicted of a crime before. I just moved here to Arizona about two weeks ago. I got a citation for urinating in public. Should I plea not guilty and seek counsel? Or plea guilty? If I do plea guilty will there be a criminal record on my file? I am a medical student, and do not want a criminal record. Thank you for your time.
  • I have a renter who gave verbal notice 30 days ago. They do not have a written lease. They promptly disappeared and left all of their possessions in the premises. They are hoarders! What process/action do I have to take before I can clean up the property and remove their possessions (i.e. trash/donations).
  • I retired from the army this past november and decided to move. even though i have orders my property manager is saying that i have pay a partial rent and a buyout of the lease.
  • My son got divorced while in the Army. The child support was based on his Army income and housing allowance. The divorce was in Louisiana. He now lives in Avondale, AZ going to school and working part time. His ex-wife and daughter now live in Fort Irwin, California, with the new husband who is in the Army. My son is having difficulty paying child support since his discharged from the Army and the drastic change of income. His pay is being garnished via Arizona and Louisiana respective government agencies. Can he get the child support modified and if so where would he do it?
  • Is it required to file for child support? I filed for divorce and my ex and I are in agreement on everything, neither of us wants child support or spousal support and we filed a Maritial Settlement Agreement stating that neither of us is seeking Child support but when I am filling out the final decree it seems as though it is requiring me to also do the child support order and child support worksheet.
  • My ex-boyfriend was arrested in 2014 & sentenced to 4.5 year. I ended the relationship shortly afterward for many reasons including physical & mental abuse. He threatened me if I ever left him & tried to kill me twice. After his arrest, I became homeless & all of our belongings were lost. I have since met someone else & have gotten married. I wrote my ex in prison to let him know his belongings were gone & that I had gotten married & not to come looking for me or his things upon his release. I am afraid he will come after me.Is it possible to get an Order of Protection prior to his release?
  • i am renting a home in casa grande az, my question is prior to moving in to the home it was listed on our rental agreement to turn on utilities before keys to the home were issued. i turned on all utilities except putting sewer and trash in my name because i never have had to before in any rental i had. now my rental manager wants me to put the bill in my name and pay back payments due for a total of four months. can the company do that? and they want to tack the fee on my rent which already is 1150 a month.
  • I moved into a manufactured house on the first of april with two small dogs. In the lease it states that I can have two small dogs and two domestic cats. The other day my landlord came and verbally told me I could not keep my dogs in doors at night and if I do I have 30 days to move out. Can he do that? It says nothing in my lease about not being able to bring them in at night. I understand he doesn't want them roaming around inside while Im at work all day!! dog's are house trained. He wants me to write a letter stating I want to move out because of this.

  • What should I do if I have information about a crime?

  • I was served with an injunction against harassment and was never informed by the plantiff that I was harassing her...we were friends. Now I have been given this form and I don't know what to do...she never indicated that she felt threaten by me and showed no changes in her behaviors that would even give the slightest clue as to her feelings...what do I do to protect myself now...
