  • Is it legal for stores without a membership agreements to require customers to show receipts when leaving? What AZ law(s) cites retailer/consumer rights on the this topic? If not legal, how should customers 'decline' such a request from retailers?

  • I worked for an AC company and during that time of my employment my AC needed service. They fixed it at a discount price and we agreed that I would make weekly payment until the balance is paid. Well I was terminated before being able to pay off the balance. My question is can they withhold that from my final paycheck? Also they're charging me for a price book that I dont have and some uniforms that were missing but I turned in whatever uniforms I had. Can they withhold that as well?

  • I evicted a roommate and gave them 21 days to remove all of their belongings from my property. It was stated in the eviction notice, and agreed upon, that if after that period the belongings were not collected, that I had the right to dispose of said property as I see fit. The 21 day period ended September 2nd 2013. It is now October 17 and this person in threatening to take me to court because I will not allow collection of the property. Does he have the right to do that? What are my rights?
