My mother has contacted an attorney that I had befriended and still keep in contact and use on occasion for legal issues. My younger brother has been doing home improvement projects for this attorney for several years now but has never retained. There has been an argument between myself and another family member (making false claims) and this attorney has been counseling them. Is this a violation of ethics? How could a friend/attorney represent another family member against me. This attorney is too closely related to our "business" and appears to be a HUGE CONFLICT... Please advise ASAP
