QUESTIONS

  • My husband and I have a covenant marriage. We are getting divorced (we meet the necessary requirement to do so), but I'm not sure if I need to file different paperwork. All of the regular divorce paperwork for AZ states that it won't work for covenant marriages. Please advice. Thanks!

  • In 2008 I was convicted of a undesignated class 6 in AZ that was supposed to be reduced to a misdemeanor after I completed probation which I did (got early release) and paid all my fines. It shows up as a felony on background checks . Can I get this expunged/set aside? or even changed to a misdemeanor like it was supposed to be ?

  • I had a job as a property manager which one of the perks was a free apartment. I was arrested off property for an non-work related reason. I spent four days in jail. The charges were later dropped. When I returned from jail, I was fired and locked out of my apartment. I believe it was wrongful termination, but that's another matter. My question is even though I was an employee, am I still not covered under the Arizona Landlord/Tenant Act? I think I should have had a 10 day Notice to Vacate.
