My boyfriend has a 17 year old son who has been caught several times smoking marijuana and we just found out he is selling it. My boyfriend kicked him out by packing his things and bringing him over to his Grandma's house. The son left that house and is now living with multiple friends and stating he has been abandoned. The problem with letting him back home is the use and selling of illegal drugs. These are things my boyfriend could be arrested for if they are found in his home. What are his legal rights to remove the son from his home without being considered a child abandonment case?

Bounced a check to bank not knowing it would bounce at the time. When I did find out it bounced I did not pay right away. Amount $425. I cant pay now because it has gone to court system. At the time I wrote check I did not know it would bounce. Check was from good account. I just did poor bookkeeping. I read law and it says only a crime if I knew it would bounce. I have a plea on the table which will put a misdemeanor on my record. Do I have a defense since I did not know it would bounce?

I was running late to trial and sent an email along with a call to judges chambers. An automated email provided a number to contact as they were out of the office. So I called there was no answer so I left a message. I was going theu security around 940 am. And hit the court room floor about 943, 944am, court was scheduled for 930am. As I was approching I seen the opposing party walking out , the bailiff locking the door behind them. Extremely rude, as the first time we met, she replied, to questions I asked, "get a lawyer, you will get some thing in the mail. I can file an appeal right?
