My mother was given guardianship of my children when I was incarcerated. I've been out for over 2 years now. She has not allowed me to see my kids. I had a notarized statement giving custody to their dad, the judge did not accept it. Instead he accepted a letter I wrote to my sister while in county jail. How do I go about getting my kids back or visitation when I.can't afford it. To me this was all done wrong. And she wants child support when I can't see my kids.

My 91 year-old father has recently been admitted to an Altzheimer's long term care facility. My stepsister, his ex-wife and a fiduciary have healthcare Power of Attorney. The fiduciary is private and only acts as a substitute. I have no access to his medical records. I live in CA & cannot take charge of his care. He's medicated and sleepy all the time. How can I get access to his medical records without becoming responsible for his care from another state? My stepsister is not cooperative and has even threatened my visits with my father. The fiduciary interceded on my behalf. His ex-wife has taken all his assets.

I was evicted for nonpayment of rent March 31. April 2, I notified landlord with letter stating demand for whereabouts and costs for moving and storage of my property. Landlord replied with "when you pay me what you owe, plus moving and storage expenses, then we will talk." Landlord then gave me a $4500 moving and storage bill (her handwriting) in which same moving company quoted me no more than $1800. On the 20th day we contacted landlord where she said it is considered abandoned and that if we contacted her anymore she would file harassment charges on us. What do we do?

My Brother is a 32 combat veteran of the 5th Special forces group. He was arrested yesterday for aggravated assault. He is heavily medicated due to injuries and may be a threat to his family. His wife called me yesterday asking me to help but I do not know what I can do. Can some one offer me some advice on what, as his brother, I can do?

My 15 year old daughter moved back to live with me just over a year ago. My ex and I went to court to change custody and he was awarded 57 days of visitation. I drive my daughter 5 hours to where he lives so she has the opportunity to see him. She does not want to stay at his house because his new wife is verbally and emotionally abusive. He always knows when she is in town and he refuses to see her if she doesn't stay at his house. Do I have to force her to stay with him if I know what she has to go through there? Am I in contempt of court if I do not force her to stay at his house?

My wife signed a online prenatal that was notarized that basically stated her debt is hers and mine is mine and her finances are hers and mine are mine. We tried to make it work for 3 1/2 years but it’s not working. I brought a house while we were married and put $75,000 down, all my money. We are both on mortgages though. She agreed if we divorced the $75,000 I put down. I would get back and would split any extra money from the sale of the house. Now she has changed her mind and wants to keep the house but there is no way she can buy me out. What are the chases I get my $75,000 back after
