QUESTIONS

  • What is the definition of habitable under AZ law. If move into apt. that has new carpet that makes one sick would that be uninhabitable? Thanks
  • application for renew food stamps
  • We are preparing to sign a lease. The home was marketed as having a 'large fenced yard for kids and pets." Upon inspection, this 'fenced yard' has one full side of a metal fence completely fallen over, with metal sticking up, posing a safety hazard and not "fenced" for our dogs to be able to safely access the yard. The property mgmt. company said that they're aware of this, but the owner wants to focus on working on the house and not fence at this time. She said we can do something temporary (at our own expense) in the meantime, and possibly discuss this again in the future. Is this legal?

  • I TOOK OUT A REVERSE MORTGAGE BEFORE MY WIFE WAS OLD ENOUGH TO BE ON IT. I CALLED TO HAVE HER ADDED ON AND THEY TOLD ME IT CAN NOT BE DONE. WE WERE TOLD IT COULD BE WHEN WE TOOK IT OUT. WHAT CAN I DO TO PROTECT MY WIFE AFTER I DIE?
  • I signed a year lease, and moved into these apartments on 12-14-2012. That lease ended 12-31-2013, but we wanted to stay in the complex, but in a downstairs unit. None were available then, so I signed what should have been a 3 month lease, but when I read it again, it shows the lease started on 4-1-2014, and terminates on 3-31-2015. We finally moved downstairs, and I signed a year lease on 5-19-2014, that terminates on 4-30-2015. My landlord is "renovating" and isn't renewing my lease. However, she has the terminating date as 3-31-2015, which was the old lease's date. What should I do?
  • If I move out of the house (after 50 years of marriage) this will not be considered 'abandonment' or 'possession is 9/10th of the law' as my husband tells me will it once I file for divorce?
