We received a tro from district court on our foreclosure it was mysteriously remanded to state court then dismissed by state court we are under appeal to 9th circuit. It turns out opposing counsel clerked for judge at the AZ supreme court and US court of appeals for the ninth circuit. Neither the judge or opposing counsel disclosed there past relationship! Is this not a conflict of interest? Is the judge not required to disclose there past relationship? Is the lawyer not required to disclose there past relationship? Is it of any use in a dismissal?

My ex husband's new wife has made a threat-" that if I ever go to Sierra Vista, she will have her first husbands , friends fron the pen, have me "taken care of"". Her first husband was a drug dealer who was murdered, so this is not something I take lightly. And my daughter hasnt seen her dad for over 2 years, because this woman was verbally abusive to her. She is also a convicted felon. Is this a felony crime? And can I be protected from her, or her thug lifestyle friends? I live in Tucson.

I received an eviction notice on my door at 8pm, after returning home from work, on November 25th. The court date is set for Dec.1st. This gave me no time to request off from work. The only 2 business days are Friday and Monday. They sent me a 5 day notice certified mail, but the part I am supposed to sign is already removed. This has happened before. I have received this before the same way. My question is what to do about my court date when I am already scheduled to work on the 1st. Is it legal to allow 2 business days before receiving eviction papers and court date?
