My niece used drugs in the past, paid for her crimes with a jail time. Upon release she regained custody of her two boys. She cleaned up/turned her life around. She remarried and had a third child. Her mother having had the boys during her jail stay became too attached/ makes up complaints abuse even puts things in the boys. She speaks ill of my niece to the boys trying to make them resent their mother. The boys 5/7 want to be with their mom & brother. The grandmother claims abuse but only wants the two older children. She says she has grandparent rights forcing my niece to comply with her every wish. Does my niece have to let the grandmother continue to see the kids? It is causing the boys much confusion.

Is a landlord legally required to provide external doors for apartment entrances, or can they use hollow interior doors instead of exterior doors? My apartment had a hollow door for my apartment entrance that got damaged and the property management is making me pay for the new solid, exterior door to replace the hollow interior door used incorrectly as an exterior facing door. I learned that my apartment was not the only one on the property with an interior door used as an exterior door and would like to know how legal that is.

I cheated on my husband and now i'm pregnant. My husband & I are fixing things and decided we do not want a DNA test for father paternity. The person who I had an affair with was also with someone else- he preferred abortion to solve "the problem" I refused- he stood with his 10 long year girlfriend and did not tell her anything. 1 Month later & now he is interested because his girlfriend found out and will leave him only if they child is his. He did not want anything to do with this child i refuse to DNA unless ordered through court. Want to see if its possible for him to give up his rights.

My family has been living at our location for over 3 years. We just asked to renew our lease a few months ago. As we were going through the house to see what needs to be fixed and repaired, my wife and I admitted that a few things is our responsibility. Other things I feel should be our LL. We had someone say that who ever done the tile did a bad job, and that the kitchen needs to be replaced. That was why about 9 tiles cracked. The refrigerator is over 15 years old and she wants us to buy a new one. We told her about the garage door breaking. Her excuse that she had to pay over $1200 for this
