QUESTIONS

  • My husband has said that he filed for divorce but I don't want it. Is there some way that it could go through even if I don't agree to it or if I don't sign the divorce papers.
  • Does the Landlord have the right to do and inspection without the tenant being present. In this case they refuse to set an appointment. They intent to just walkin while the tenant is away working.
  • In jan our house was searched a warrant never given we picked one up a week later then we wanted another copy 6 months later it was a new warrant nothing like the first one is that legal?
  • What is the purpose of child support and what can the obligee use the money for?
  • How do I change a custody agreement so that I now have full custody as my ex-husband is no longer fit to have full custody? I had issues with depression and alcohol so he has full custody now and I’m supposed to just have supervised visits but we are reconciling and live together with the kids. I have since turned myself around completely and am sober and managing my depression. He is unfortunately in a constant state of relapse currently and repeatedly being taken to a hospital or treatment facility. He is the one working and making money but I take care of the kids 24/7.
  • i believe my landlord is being abused in away that could result in his death what is the fastest way to get help and please dont say call police they arent helpfull
  • My co-leasors are moving back to Montana at the end of this month and our lease does not expire until May. What are the ramifications of ending the lease early?
  • We gave a roommate 30-day verbal notice that his month-to-month lease was up. If he doesn't leave could his drinking binges (including driving on a suspended license, with no insurance), and belligerent, vaguely threatening but scary behavior be enough to get an immediate eviction started? He will go into the kitchen falling down drunk when everyone else is asleep, and I'm afraid he could start a fire, by accident or on purpose. Or would we have to give him written notice and start from square one? Thanks!
  • I have submitted notice on 7/28/17 that we would be non-renewing our lease and it would end, as stated in our lease, on 9/12/17. This provided excess of 30 days notice as required. They did not respond until today, 8/7/17. When we moved in, our rent for Sept '16 (9/13 - 9/30) was prorated. In our notice, I stated we would be paying the pro-rated amount of our rent due on 9/1 for the 12 days we will be occupying the apartment. The management let us know that our lease will end on 9/12, but we are responsible for the entire month of Sept. rent. I am unsure. I have communicated with them by e-mail because I wanted to document it.
  • My husband and I have been married for 9 months and I am 7 months pregnant. My husband has a daughter from a previous relationship. His parents (my in-laws) have stated they plan to file for grandparents rights. I know they have no rights over our son since we are married, however will they lump both kids together or not since they have two different mothers? They will try for time for our son, I already know that. I guess my concern is will they get any time with him?
