I am wondering if it is considered fraud for an employer to claim we would be interviewed via phone by an impartial party then turn around and hire someone outside the company without ever interviewing the internal applicants?

I signed a year lease, and moved into these apartments on 12-14-2012. That lease ended 12-31-2013, but we wanted to stay in the complex, but in a downstairs unit. None were available then, so I signed what should have been a 3 month lease, but when I read it again, it shows the lease started on 4-1-2014, and terminates on 3-31-2015. We finally moved downstairs, and I signed a year lease on 5-19-2014, that terminates on 4-30-2015. My landlord is "renovating" and isn't renewing my lease. However, she has the terminating date as 3-31-2015, which was the old lease's date. What should I do?

I have been employed at the same job for 9 years. Can my employer ask my age? Ask if I'm going to retire? Ask if I filed for Social Security? Ask how much I will be receiving every month then cut my hours from 40 per week to 24 per week? Tell me my job is guaranteed to the end of the year and then it depends if he will keep me. I have over 24 years experience and he was going to lay me off and keep the person in their 30's who has 5 years experience because they made $6,000 less than me. Can he do this since I'm a senior citizen?

My ex-husband and I divorced in 1992 in KS and had 3 minor children at the time. My ex rarely paid his support and actually owes his children thousands of dollars. The question: the children are adults who have been residents of AZ for many years. They now really need funds and I'm unable to help. How would I initiate an audit of monies owed, and where do I start since none of us have been residents of KS for many years. My ex resides in SC. I have been told there are no time limitations to child support.
