  • Is a landlord responsible for any illegal activity that might be going on with their renters
  • I recieved a Notice of Substition of Trustee. The recorded date that shows on this notice when my mortgage lender appointed the as a successor trustee shows a recording date of September 15, 2008. Which today is September 2 , 2008, so how can something have been recorded on a date that has not even happened yet? The sale is scheduled for September 5, 2008. What are my legal rights as to getting this sale postponed?

  • My lease states that we are responsible for the "care and maintenance" of the appliances, the glass stove top broke during normal use and the landlord is requesting that we pay for it. If the appliance breaks under normal use, is that our fault? Are we responsible for it under "care and maintenance" ?

They refuse to take my money but then say I still have to pay lot fees. Can I sell my home and not pay these fees.
