when trying to find my divorce degree to apply for ex-husbands social security after his death, finally got sent to the filing dept. and the clerk said there was no signed divorce degree in the file. The judge had never signed a divorce decree. she said i was still married to him but the ssa courts won't accept my word How do I fix the situation so I can get my ex's social security. altogether we were married 12 yrs but I disqualified because we didn't remarry for 2 yrs versus 1 yr. Neither of us ever remarried

I received a traffic ticket for speeding. When I arrived in court they advised that I had to return later because the officer had not filed the ticket. How long does he have before I can have the ticket dismissed?

I quit my job in May to seek a higher position. Contacted my former employer July and let them know it was not working out and would like to come back. Was told they would call me in october when the position became available again. Found out they offered the position to a current employee, but, never contaced me to offer me my position back as stated they would. What legal recourse do have at this point?

My severely disabled (non verbal, non ambulatory) 20 year old son’s health status has declined to the point that his mom and I have agreed not to take any extraordinary intervention. He is being followed at home by Hospice of the Valley. We are being challenged by the treating hospitals to produce a medical POA to recovery his medical records. Given his current medical status the possibility of him surviving more than a couple of weeks are doubtful. Is there an easy and inexpensive way to get guardianship of him and should we?
