  • I have let my mother live in my residence that I owed with my Father, her ex-husband. He has since past. She is always late on the rent and does not take care of the yard, and smokes in the house. I don't have a lease agreement and I want her out of the house. I am cleaning up his estate and acquiring a loan to fix up the place. How can I legally do this to get her out of the house since I have no signed lease agreement. She is either late or short on the rent at least 3 times in the last year.
  • I have 2 children that were born out of wedlock but paternity was established and I am their biological father. The mother of my children placed an order of protection on me but she recently dropped it. Prior to the order of protection we had a mutual custody agreement but it wasn't court ordered. Now that the order o protection is dropped she doesn't want to go back to our original agreement. She won't let me take my children without supervision or let them sleep over. With all this being said does she have the legal right to do this? What are my legal rights for visitation with my kids?

  • We signed a year lease, Feb.2015. There was a note on our door, may 4th,2015 saying we haven't signed yet. We called the Apt. Mngr. and he looked it up on the computer and saw that we did sign a lease but the year was wrong on the lease. Instead of 2015-16 it said 2014-15 but it has our signatures and the right date of signing 2-28-15. Nobody caught that when we signed in Feb.He said to come in and resign. When we went yesterday to resign he said the rent also increased even though we were quoted the price in the lease in Feb. This seems unfair and wrong/illegal?Help appreciated. Thanks, Tom
