  • received my billing statement for rent,and i noticed that we are being charged month to month rent because our lease expired,but was not givin noticed that our lease was about end and did not agree to pay month to month.Can my landlord charge us month to month rent without us signing a renewal lease from agreeing to pay month to month?
  • I rent a room in my house with only a verbal contract, contract was month by month and only agreement was to pay rent within the first week of the month and to take care of her dogs. In approximate 5 months rent was never paid on time and dogs destroyed other individual property, owner refused responsibility for damage, I asked her to leave the house with a 3 weeks notice and she refused saying she will be out after Christmas. I have texts from her saying she will be late with the rent and witnesses about the damages her dogs caused. Please advise how should I proceed.

  • I was legally separated 12/7/2017 and the divorce was finalized 01/17/2019.During our separation I allowed my ex-wife to use my truck to drive our son around. She was in a car accident 06/2018 shes at fault (the truck had no insurance, we had a verbal agreement she would pay for it and she did But for afew months).Theres now a civil law suit against us for damages+. On this document its says I’m negligent or lending her my car. she says that legally I am at fault for everything because the truck is only under my name. she caused this car accidents but am I responsible since it’s my car?
