My apartment complex works with a central air conditioning system for every apartment. Can a landlord turn off the a/c to every unit in October when it is still hot outside because they will be turning on the heat in 2 weeks?
-
My wife passed away in October and a little while after I received a letter from a collection agency called GC Services saying she owed over 49K to them with the original account being from Educational Credit Mgmt Corp. (student loan)I know Arizona is a community property state but am unsure if I am responsible for her debt. I never signed on any loans and she has no estate to distribute to creditors. Her name was not on the house, cars, or anything. I don't feel like I am responsible for the debt but thought the law might see it differently. I have not contacted the collection agency.

My question is what rights does he have over the girls and how do I terminate his parental rights? so one day my futer husband can adopt them?

I had a friend staying with me to help pay the rent. They left (without paying debt) and left several of their things at my house. I want the things out. My teenage daughter and I were both arrest for domestic violence and both of us were prosecuted. Same case yet we were both identified as defendants which very effectively eliminated any accountability especially by the courts to address "Victim's Rights" at all. The words "dominate aggressor" does not exist , at least not in the statues in AZ. So my question is: How do the courts justify this? Is this ethical? Every justification so far has been absolutely absurd. Have you thought this through at all? Obviously: no victim, double fees, more income, more DV programs as Dual arrests increase

I moved out of a house that i had rented for over a year. by the landlord that he wished i could stay but understood. I was to know about a new position before the end of May. When it got close i called him and he stated it was ok for me to stay and i could pay half a month at a time. I have returned all keys and sent certified letter as deposit had not been returned. I have heard nothing from him. What is my next step to get the deposit back.
