We just bought a home in Arizona. I am a 100% disabled veteran living in a hot box for the past 5 weeks. We had an inspection done before and everything was fine. We have been in the house for 5 weeks and have had a different air conditioning repair person here more than 5 times with a different reason each time. Now we have flooring from the kitchen, entry way, and laundry room that needs to be replaced because of water damage from the air conditioner. Do we have any recourse against the home inspector? I called her and she said she would refund the inspection fee, but it wasn't her responsibility for the repairs now. Every penny we have went to purchase this house and we bought a home warranty so we wouldn't have to worry about problems. The warranty company of course claiming pre-existing conditions for things, so we have to fight to get some of the costs covered with them. Is there any help for us?

My son is 11. My son doesnt want to visit his father as often as outlined in the agreement, because his doesnt feel comfortable at his fathers house. He comes home very upset after his visits, because his father talks bad about me, according to my son, every day. He says speaking up wont help, because he wont simply stop for an hour or two and then continue again. Can he choose not to see his father as oulined in the parenting schedule? And if so, how should he/we take go about it?

Our landlord has decided to upgrade/renovate all apartments and says we have to move into another apartment either temporarily or permanently (our choice). This will cause inconvenience, time, energy, and money since some of us will need help moving furniture. Must they pay moving expenses, move our belongings for us, or compensate in any way? Can we terminate our lease (mine is up in a couple of months) because we are forced to move all of our belongings out? I'm thinking if I have to move everything out anyway, that perhaps I should just move altogether. The apartments are in good shape.... nothing wrong with them. What are my rights? How much notice do they have to give us? Btw.... I have housing assistance. Thank you

The saleperson whom sold my home lied to me and the costs were nothing I would agree to. I own my home outright and made it clear what I wanted and what I would pay. I was reasdured and the resltor would not clarifiy it in writing. Sure enough exactly what I predicted, she did and at first casuing me to lose 5000 below what I would ever agree to. Now she claims she will give up her commission but she has been so j trustworthy , I am afraid she will steal my home or rip me off. I am devastatedshe would do this and am afraid to go to closing for more aggravtion and stress..
