QUESTIONS

  • I have been paying child support to my ex since the day our child has been born. We have split up since. I am worried that because I have not made the payments through the system that they are not going to count. How can I make sure what I have already paid and what I will be paying will be counted if she takes me to court? I have a girlfriend now and I believe when she finds out that is where we will end up.
  • The mother of child is in jail and will be there until the end of September 2016. The mother wants me to keep the child until she is released. She did write a note saying she gives me permission to make any and all decisions for the child, but its just handwritten.I had been keeping the child three or four days a week since she was 5 weeks old,but she has been with me constant since she was 3 months old.what do I need to do to get temp guardianship until her mom gets out?
  • We rent a home through a property manager. We received a fine from the HOA regarding my husbands work truck. This rule is in a design builds document that we never received or agreed to at move in. We are refusing the fees and think this should void our lease since we only signed the CC&r's and the rules and regs. We weren't told about this and never would have rented a house that didn't allow a work truck. Anything I can do from here?
  • I need to move for work. It's before the end of the lease. If I turn over keys and pay in full, can I demand security deposit returned? Landord is saying that I would still be responsible for the property...is this true?
  • We had an 80/20 mortgage on our home. In Feb it was foreclosed on. The first lender shows as a foreclosure but the 2nd lender(chase) shows as a charge off. I was told that there is something in the state of AZ that requires both lenders to report it as a foreclosure. Is there a provision code that I can contact Chase with to have the reporting changed to Foreclosure? Thank you..
  • We need a good adoption lawyer. Thx
  • If u buy a mobile home and u are still fixing it. R u supposed to pay a full lot rent when there is body living on property? Or u pay half the rent for storage fees?
  • The child support worksheet has childcare listed, what does the word discretionary mean next to it? My children's father is suppose to pay childcare costs and now refusing because he says the word discretionary means its up to him to decide. Is that right? This amount is also a factor in figuring out the final child support amount? He pays 452.80 for 3 kids. But refuses to pay the childcare...just need some advice. Thx
  • When my wife and I separated she gave me a noterized letter stating I had met all my financial obligations of the household we shared. Now that we’re proceeding with divorce she is trying to say I owe a bunch of money in loans she took out from her family. Will the noterized letter defend me if we go to trial?
  • I own a mobile home and rent a lot in a community. We are required to maintain existing trees and shrubbery(and are charged) if we don't. What are the laws on the subject, or where can I find them? My wife and I are both disabled and it is both difficult and expensive for us. Thank you
