  • Can a landlord charge a non-refundable security deposit?
  • I received notice that my landlord would not be renewing my lease. When asked no answer was given. I am trying to stay where I am. Moving will cause a hardship if not homelessness for me and my family. What can I do? Anything?

  • I live in an apartment complex. On July 26th, 2014, there was a storm and a tree planted on the premises fell onto my car. The apartment complex removed it two days later. They claim it was an "act of God", and won't cover the repairs for the damages to my vehicle. My question is this: Would this fall under the provisions in the Arizona Residential Landlord and Tenant Act, section 33-1324, Landlord to maintain fit premises?
  • I missed my initial hearing for unemployment last june due to a misunderstanding on the directions i have since filed for appeals as i keep getting denied. i am on my last one it seems i am trying to prove good cause for missing my first hearing. i was advised by the az gov office to seek legal advice. I feel i had good cause i understood i had a phone hearing and i was not going to be present so i did not need to call in advance as directd onpage one. the directions are misleading. what can i do to prove good cause? i did not know that good cause was te case until after my 1st appeal thanyou
  • I work for a car dealership and the store I work in the General Manager will take away our days off if we have a off site sale that week so we are forced to work 8am-8pm all week with no days off. is this legal? also can he take a day off away from us if we sell less than a certain amount of cars in a month? what is the law about days off?
  • I live in a 55+ park, on 10/2 The Gas was shut off due to a leak, The master Pipe under my trailer needs repair, I have been told 3 times that it would be fixed and I would have gas. The only thing done is my Meter was removed and the pipe capped off, so everyone else would have Gas, and that took 24 Days. What is a reasonable amount of time for repairs
