  • I am renting a house and the lease states renters are responsible for "yard maintenance." A storm broke 3 large branches on a tree in the backyard, one of which is laying on the patio canopy. The landlord said "I am responsible for yard maintenance. They will pay for any damages." I believe a tree nearly destroyed by a storm is different than yard maintenance and the landlord should have the branches removed and make the determination as to whether the tree should also be removed. Is it legal for them to force the cost of this clean up and potential tree removal on me?
  • I co signed on a car for my ex boyfriend.We broke up few weeks later then said he could not pay for the car so I took over the payments. Now he wants the car back but the car company will not take my name off of the loan even though my ex is willing to sign off.Refinancing is not an option because the loan is more than the car is worth. Is their some legal process to get my name removed? I do not want the risk of him ruining my credit.
  • I see a lot of doctrine that establishes the means of acquiring a Protection Order, but I see nothing in regards to the ramifications of filing a false one. So my question is; does filing a false Protection Order, also include immunity from prosecution? Is there any justice for anyone who has been the victim of a system remedy, which has been abused to the point where it has become weapon, rendering it ineffective? Its ironic that a system created to help victims, in turn makes victims. Was that the intended purpose, to deprive fathers of their children and create a plethora problems?

  • If the house I purchased at Maricopa County auction was stripped of air conditioning, cabinets, fixtures and wiring and I know there are excess proceeds, how do I place a lien against the excess proceeds to recover the costs of replacing the items? What type of filing is necessary to recover the loss of these items?

  • for 8 weeks i had a leek with foul smelling oder,when it was to be fixed i was told we would have to stay somewhere with my pets so they could work.i told my landlords i had no place to go or could not afford a Motel, did not matter. it cost me $362.30 but i was told they would take off $125.00 from my rent. thats not right,is it?
